Jay Gruden has shown that if the Ground game does not come out crushing it, he will abandon it at the drop of a hat. Not o put to fine a point on it, but he has said multiple times, if we run on first and dont get 5-7 yards, the next two plays are likely to be passing plays. (Paraphrased of course) This is whats going to ensure that we will be drafting a QB next year even if Gruden is still around. He is a pass happy kind of guy who apparently feels like the run game is there to supplement his passing attack. And if the ground game isnt dominant early, he will abandon it.
