Tom Savage from Pittsburgh. Does he win the starting job?

I don't think he starts off with the job. but he might end up with it later in the year or most likely next year.

Yeah, Fitzpatrick is there to keep the seat warm until the future starter is ready.

As a Bills fan, I must warn you, Fitzpatrick is a poor quarterback. If the game is on the line, he's 9 times out of 10 going to throw a costly pick or fumble the ball away. When he was a starter for the Bills, we nicknamed him Captain Meltdown.

Fitzpatrick can go 8-8 or better with that team. Jags have a 2 year plan in place with Bortles and likely wont compete at all next year so theyll probably be the 4th place team in that division.

A year down the line? Who knows

yeah, I'm just not too happy to go with Fitz. Think I'd rather try Keenum some more, I don't know. Whatever route, it's going to be hope for the best this year I'm afraid. That's okay for a year, but this is the NFL. You need a Quarterback! It's a quarterback centric league: flow outward, have to block for him, and you got to sack him. Texans have the latter covered I think.

He will not start this year. Next year he will take that position away from Fitz

Still it would be difficult to top what Schaub did last year.

The Texans had Seattle beat. Then it was all downhill from there.

Schaub had ONE bad season. He still ranks as one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league today. Fitzy continues produces lower tier passing stats year after year, and folds when crunch time arrives.
