starting 2 games is misleading... He was a second year player, who just made the all-rookie team... and we all know with 11 men starting, the third CB was generally the one not starting... and of course you are not going to start your youngster vs your veterans...

But just a side, did you know that Bates was second overall in sacks as a DB in football that year... Just saying, it is not like he had a bad season... and not too far-fetched that he would make the pro-bowl...

I'm sorry, he clearly played corner for the Bears for a couple years and the rule wouldnt have been needed had we all just understood that we aren't picking special teams players.

Okay this has already turned into the shid show I thought it might, Let's go with 32 starts at a position. Bates works and so does Azumah!

Perfect example would be setting a guy at LT but made as LG but had tackle experience
