Oregon Is Faster
I feel like Monday Night Football completely lost its "big time" stage feel when it moved from ABC to ESPN.
Thursday and Sunday NF are both far superior.
I can live with SNF and MNF, but TNF has to go. Its terrible. Teams are not prepared, players who are hurt are more likely out because of the short week. It robs the fan of seeing stud players from another team, but if it was Sunday they would have played. I would rather see 2 Monday night games, one East coast(7pm), one West cost(10pm)
Ill agree the SNF game is usually a good match up. But Many of the Thursday games are garbage.
I don't get NFL network there for THursday night football I don't watch.
SNF is awesome, superior to all 3 of the night games. Great announcing and production.
MNF announcing is awful, very very bad. Like stated before the extreme overdone coverage of the entire game is not needed, c'mon man is the only good segment.
I think MNF needs to get an entirely new announcing team Tricio and Gruden are un bearable. they also need to go with better matchups, I know they don't have the luxury of SNF in picking games throughout the season, but isn't it logical to NOT pick teams like the Vikings, Dolphins, etc?

Did you know you can go to NFL.com and watch the TNF game streamed live? I didn't until recently. I don't like ESPN, I don't like their announcers, I don't like anything about them. I never watch MNF on ESPN. When Dallas plays they cover the game on a local channel and I watch it there.
I like the pre and post game show in the NFL network, but they really need to get rid of Mayock, he is terrible.[/QUOTE]
Mayock is actually quite knowledgeable, in my opinion. He is very annoying, however. He is too self-congratulatory and, as another poster pointed out in another thread, he uses the word "football" far too often. No need to add "the football" every time after using the words "run", "throw", "catch", or "play". I think that is implied when watching a football game. I think he actually has a lot of potential, but someone needs to "coach him up".
The OP is obviously right, however, that the quality of MNF has really gone downhill since switching networks. Last night, however, was a game that I was really looking forward to. Too bad AR got hurt early in the game and Cutler was unable to play. Under normal circumstances Chicago v. GB is one of the better divisional matchups in the league.
