The single most important matchup this Sunday

There are a number of intriguing matchups on both sides of the ball Sunday against the Cards, but I think I'm going with Leno vs Chandler Jones as my most important one. Chandler will give him all he can handle and then some, but I'm confident Charles will be up to the task.

They are the top players for the Cards D, that's for sure. And Johnson/Fitzgerald for their O. Well I'm off for a weekend get-together with some old buds and won't be back until Sunday evening. TG for the NFL Ticket and DVR - not going to miss a minute of the game. Look forward to the post game comments afterward, despite the fact that we're all idiots.

They get Marcus Golden back this week, but it's his first game coming of a torn ACL. Probably not too big of a concern but still.

I think he just needs time. He is processing where he should be just playing. He is a half step behind and thinking too much. I hope by game 12 we see a good young QB. I really believe Nagy can get him going strong. Were only going on game 3 of a new complicated system.

well Noon,i really don't wanna get into another argument over all this again.....

But I don't buy this as hes in a new system,he needs time and whatever else excuse fellow posters come up with...……..

This system excuse is actually nothing but an excuse...….Tell me was it really the system that made him under throw Robinson for that interception? Was it the system that made him miss Howard coming out of the backfield that was not even close...…..?
How about the misread on a wide open Burton vs GB...……..You guys can tell me whatever you want about that play,but Trubisky had him in his sites and didn't throw it...….I`ll say that one might be from little bit of inexperience,but he still needed to make that play...............Although Nagy came to his rescue over thatplay,but that's exactly what what had to said for nagy is not gonna throw him under the bus over that play...…..Hes just not.
.He needs to improve in thesenext two games,otherwise were gonna be toast vs the good ones...…..

And Ill reserve my comments for now until after the TB game and see where hes at.......

The two opening drives has been the good...….The one drive vs
Sea where he had the td pass to Miller was an excellent masterful drive by Trubisky.but damn,it was also an easy 3-4 pick game for him.
And youre right,I am critical of our qb play...………...Its just cause ive been expecting to see improve,ment each game and havn`t seen it.
But as I said,you wont hear much from me about Trubisky until after the TB game……….I hope.lol

I think Trubs will make it for the same reason Cutler did not. The OC and coach. But it is no sure thing.

Talk about straw man, geez. Yeah like the only difference between Trubisky and all the good QBs in the league is "missing from time to time". (rolls eyes)

Trubisky is bad right now. No one is saying he won't get better. But to suggest he's actually playing well is ludicrous and really shows who does and doesn't understand what they are watching.

The only conclusion I made about Trubisky so far is, his ceiling isn't as high as I was hoping it'd be. Right now to me his ceiling is, he can be a decent QB, just below say a Mathew Stafford. Trubisky will be looking up in the division as far as QBs are concerned.
