Top Tier: Alabama, Oregon
2nd Tier: Ohio State, Clemson, Stanford, Florida St
3rd Tier: Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma
These are the teams that stand a chance to play in the nc game. Looking at the schedule, Alabama has the best chance. If either Clemson or Florida St loses another game while beating the other, no chance.
Ohio State must run the table. Oklahoma also must run the table and get some help.
Biggest Surprises: Auburn, Baylor, Missouri, Rutgers, Texas Tech
Biggest Disappointments: Texas, USC, North Carolina
Not really a lot of surprises. The only teams from my original top 25 that are not in the top 25 are Texas and USC. My top 10 has remained the same teams for 5 weeks in a row, although the order has changed.
Heisman Trophy: Johnny Manziel, Marcus Mariotta, Tahj Boyd, Teddy Bridgewater, Aaron Murray, Jameis Winston.
This order is very fluid. No one else seems likely to rise. Best bets though are if Baylor wins the Big 12 or if Ohio State wins out. Then Bryce Petty and Braxton Miller might rise.
NC Game: Alabama vs Oregon. Alabama looking real good. Watch out for winner of Clemson vs Florida St.
