I don't think KC sucks, but their competition in the division is much better. Tigers still have a good offense especially when Miggy and VMart are healthy and improved the rotation/BP at least somewhat, the White Sox have great SP and defense to go along with some sluggers in the middle of their order who haven't even had a great start individually despite the team being 19-9, and the Indians still have a good rotation. There's also probably more pressure and expectations to repeat last year's performance because they are the defending champs. I could see them winning the division and I could see them struggling to make the postseason, but it'd be crazy to write them off after 1 bad month.

its still early. Detroit is good, but I swear they always start strong then slowly fade off. If they are in 3rd place by all star break thats when we can start claiming WS hangover.

Well it helped, but they still had to get through 3 teams once they made the playoffs to walk away champs. Mets were in a shit division too tbh.
