THE REFS had a very efficent night...
I thought THE REFS came out with a solid game plan.
In the first half THE REFS had chances to falter when Nebraska showed some early steam, but THE REFS were able to string together a couple of penalties along with some solid no-calls to keep tight control of this hard fought battle.
At half time,THE REFS tweaked their 2nd half game plan makings sure to iron out a few wrinkles like the false start penalty on A&M. Obviously THE REFS were not on the right page on that call. However THE REFS seemed confident they could get the job done just as THE REFS had practiced before.
In the second half, is when THE REFS really began to grind out the opponent, showering a wave of yellow hankies at the Big Red. Yet late in the 4th quarter with the game on the line and Nebraska regaining defensive momentum THE REFS stepped up big once more for the BIG 12 to allow a late A&M drive to continue rewarding the home team with the game winning points. "It was a long throw into that breeze" said THE REFS "but I knew that flag had a chance as soon as I let it go".
Even though THE REFS missed two call, THE REFS were able to land 16 on the opponent and eek out a victory.
