How crazy is this. Astros drop the first 2 games against the Royals.
After they swept us in those 3 games 39-10 I thought the Astros were the team to beat again in the playoffs. They have been imploding and now they may not even make the playoffs

Gilbert lost for the first time in his last nine road starts since mid-June, a stretch when he is now 6-1. Houston beat the crap out of us but KC is just messing them up and we are 7-1 against Seattle. Need to keep it going because Houston and Seattle play a 3 game series after tomorrow which guarantees that one of them loses each night. We just can't pull a Cleveland after our Toronto against the Angels. We need to come in with both guns blazing.

The crazy thing about the KC-Astros game is that Jordan Lyles who has been an absolute bum with an ERA of over 6 threw 5 innings of 2 hit ball against the Astros. In fact KC then put out relievers with ERA's of over 5, over 4, over 6, and over 5 to close it out. Houston fans have to be beside themselves.
