OK, any guesses what might be inside? My theory:

- Wallpaper with fluffy clouds
- Enya at a reasonable decibel level.
- Comfy pillows

On the wall - a life-size 2-foot tall fathead of a shirtless Gary Bettman.

It's not just the hit that may be examined. How about that concussion protocol? What was Seabrook doing back on the ice when it was obvious on his next two shifts that something wasn't right before he headed down the tunnel.

"I don't want to get into that part of it," said Quenneville

lol

 how convenient.

I mentioned in the other thread... I do find it somewhat amusing that it wasn't THAT hit that sent Seabrook down the tunnel, it was Torres rocking him a second time a couple of shifts later. (still no reaction from hawks - John Scott had been stapled to the bench at that point).

I think they just picked their spot there ... there were only a couple of minutes left in the period when they decided to send Seabrook to the room and evaluate him

unfortunately for me ... i watched the Versus feed last night and when I got home I watched the CBC feed on PVR.

In the aftermath of the hit, Versus iso'ed in on Quenneville and he was jumping up and down with his hand up signalling and screaming "FIVE FIVE FIVE" over and over again

Okay, can some one give a timeline as to when he got hit, when he took his next shift, and when he went to the room? I know it didn't seem to be in the right order.

here's the play-by-play. Play By Play
big hit at 12:14 of the 2nd.
next torres hit was 15:16 of the 2nd

shifts for Seabrook: Time On Ice Report Home Team
18 2 11:04 / 8:56 12:14 / 7:46 01:10 P (first hit)
19 2 12:40 / 7:20 13:30 / 6:30 00:50
20 2 14:10 / 5:50 15:19 / 4:41 01:09 (second hit)
21 3 0:18 / 19:42 0:38 / 19:22 00:20

so... his next shift was 24 seconds after the big hit. the shift after THAT Torres hit him again (clean). He basically missed the last 4 minutes of the 2nd.

another so... if he IS hurt - does Coach Q get any blame for sending him right back out there to get crushed again?

like how Q follows up with. he a big Western Kid. anyone else would leave on a stretcher.

translation - "fucking kid better stay in if he knows whats good for him. fuck the concussion protocol it doesn't apply here"

its a good idea. its a smart thing to do. the hawks threw it in the face of respecting the players by not sending him back there until the second hit.

interesting to note on the cbc broadcast they show with 7:18 left in the period after the Hawks score the pp goal ... Seabrook lines up ready for the faceoff and there is an iso of the ref talking to seabrook as he's hunched over ready for the faceoff ... probably trying to determine whether he is allright?

in a span of just shy of 4 minutes of gametime post hit ... Seabrook takes 2 shifts ... one 50 seconds and the other 1:09 ... he played 2 minutes out of the 4 minutes of elapsed game time

can't imagine that the nhl was very happy about that. i could see some sort of disciplinary action coming in the future to teams that do not follow the concussion protocol

If they think that the hit was deserving of a suspension (which I'm SURE they do, heck even Q was saying 5 after it), then they think of it as a head shot, and he HAS TO BE EVALUATED. Evaluation takes 15-20 minutes, and they obviously didn't do that after the first hit. They're very lucky that the second hit didn't do more damage honestly.
