I personally think Fletcher Cox & (2) #1s should be enough. Fletcher Cox by himself may be worth (2) #1s.

I love Fletcher & wanted him bad in that draft but if we can get Mariota for him & 2 #1s Id do it in a heartbeat. Without a stud QB, we are wasting this Offense & our time hoping for a championship.

If we cant get him, we cant get him but we sure should try damn hard.

It will be embarrasing if Chip wants to trade for Mariota but Howie/Lurie say no & then in 2 years Chip leaves to go coach Mariota in Tampa, Oakland or wherever he ends up. Chip isnt the type of guy who likes to waste time & thats exactly what he is doing without a good QB.

I might do 3 1#s and Shady for Mariota. But I actually think that would not be enough. I would not however trade Fletcher Cox.

Yes seriously because to trade that many number one picks does more harm than good. Yeah you get a stud but in the you lose first round talent for three years. Those pick help build the foundation of your team. Many teams have sold he farm for one player only to have it bite them in the ass.

Have to agree with Wings on Rodgers over Luck. But not going to give up 3 firsts and a stud player for Mariota. I know i'm in the minority but I would rather see Winston slip a little and make a move up for him.

2 #1s; 2 #2s; and Shady are the most I would offer. No more than that. If we draft some stud OLs; an ILB; a S; and 2 CBs, in the next 2 drafts - we can win with Foles, or a draftee apprentice. As much as we all drool over Mariota, he isn't a guarantee. We all know that. If it is out of reach to trade all that and more, then we have to build a great team around Foles.

I'd take Hundley over Winston.....I want no parts of that piece of trash.


Hundley is actually very similar Kaepernick....a more Diesel version. Still has Great wheels and a huge arm. There is no question Hundley can run a read Option, he already does....Hundley can sling it 80 yards, Hundley can throw a 30 yard frozen rope, and Hundley will run a 4.5 forty. Still would not select in rd 1.

While I think Rodgers is better than Luck, he is also 31 years old. Luck is 25. So, no brainer, you would trade for Luck because he has 10 years left.

Of course, no one would trade Luck even for 5 first rounders.

Take it from a guy whose team traded that much for a stud.. It isnt worth it. Julio is fucking great but the cost of losing those picks has left us depleted at almost every other position. You guys have a good QB in Foles, he may not be the perfect fit for the system but there is no reason to mortgage the future on an unproven quantity.

It would take a fully loaded 2015 Cadillac Escalade ESV. A couple of draft picks. Nick Foles. My xbox one with Madden. 5 yrs of free cheese steaks and finally the rocky statue. Mariota will be ours after that.

If you are gonna do it...you do it only for a QB. That QB has to be pretty close to a cant miss prospect in your system. Id say Chip thinks so of Mariota.

But you dont trade 3 or 4 #1s + good to great players. That would be crazy for any draft pick.

Fletcher Cox & (2) #1s is plenty. You are giving up a great player & the "chance" to draft 2 more good players (provided those picks are in the 20+ range). For Mariota w/Chip Kelly...yea, Id do it.

Another team? No, because he isnt as much a sure thing in a different O. So Im not sure there will be a ton of competition to trade up for him if the price is real steep.

Only chance we have is if the Jags or Raiders get the pick. Both are poor teams & seem to have their QBs already.
