In the PAC.....
6 teams scored 25+ per game in 2010
12 teams scored 25+ per game in 2014
I had this argument on SportsHoopla last year when someone was saying the pac defenses were weak. PAC defenses aren't weak by any stretch. Players like Scooby wright awards and all americans should make that evident enough. The reason they don't always look as strong as they are.has a lot more to do with how strong the PAC offenses are.Exactly.
It isnt a lack of defense. It is innovation and progressive coaching top to bottom.
When those beastly freak athletes on defense in the SEC are giving up 30-40 in games against good offenses you know times are changing.
Damn near impossible to go unbeaten in conference play.
27 game win streak while impressive is still only 2 undefeated in conference play seasons.Yep. Since Oregon St. ended USC's 27 game PAC win streak in 2006, only Oregon has made it through conference play unbeaten and they've only been able to do it once. It may be awhile before we see any team make it through the PAC unbeaten again.

In 2004 USC missed 5-6 OregonExactly my point. Like Mamba said, near impossible to make it through the PAC unbeaten. It's happened like 3 times in the past 15 years and by only 2 different teams.
Since the PAC moved to the 9 game IC schedule, only Oregon has done it.
Unless they play 13.5 conference games a season, I think this might be a little off . . .27 game win streak while impressive is still only 2 undefeated in conference play seasons.
Of course, it is also possible that I was confused as to what you meant. (that happens from time to time.)Unless they play 13.5 conference games a season, I think this might be a little off . . .

We are the Game of Thrones conference. Nobody is safe.
