OD They lose less about 5 on each side of the ball and the backups all got meaningful playing time.

OH and just to piss off Oregon fans, Zach Hoffpauir has returned to play his final year of football after a year playing baseball in the minors. He was the safety that had all the tackles against Oregon 3 years ago.

you lose some major pieces. Your QB, some stud WRs and don't you lose some keys on the o-Line?

Meh, it's the off season. It's not like there's a lot else to talk about until LOI day so lame and entirely irrelevant way too early top 25 lists it is.

How's everyones recruiting shaping up? I'm curious who USC is bringing in here at the end. Word is the kid who recently decomitted felt USC was cooling on him so he bolted.

Hard to tell with UW. Petersen is very tight on his recruiting efforts. I mean they are all required to keep that stuff quiet, but Pete really keeps the kids even from saying much if he can help it. They want kids to wait until they are 100% sure and ready to announce and for quite a few of them that means days before LOI day. The class sits now at 13? Odds are they know of at least 10 more waiting to go public.

8-10 to finish around 21-23 in the class makes sense. last few for any late deciders or transfers

To be fair, if you listen to the USC recruiting sites, any time a kid doesn't go to USC, it's because the Trojans were "cooling" on him or didn't think he'd get into school.

ASU's pretty much where it has been under Graham. On the edge of the top 25. #22 right now. Get 3 or 4 more high end guys to finish up and it'll safely be top 20ish. Otherwise it might slip out to the late 20s.

Wrong. Some times they don't feel the current coach will be there long or they don't like the scheme they will run the next year or they saw USC was getting another kid higher rated at the same position or another school offered late or they were silent commits . Or they just changed their minds (they are 18 year old kids after all) Or they don;t have the grades to get into USC like Vontaze Burfict and end up at another school. To be fair.

You guys dodged a bullet with Burfict. I can't even imagine the kind of shit he'd have gotten into in that part of LA.

Oh I know that. I don't know how much of a Knucklehead he was in high school but I know he had his issues at Arizona State to the point he went undrafted. You know how bad you have to be for all the NFL teams to pass you up? lol

Don't know if you follow the pros at all, but he just got a suspension for three games for doing the same dumb crap he pulled in college.

When you separate the recruits, Petersen is selectively adding some great looking prospects to fit specific needs. It wasn't going to be a big class with projections for about 17 taken this year.
I'm hoping for a strong finish, but I'm a bit worried that many of their final targets are heading elsewhere.

But when you take a look at last years class, they knocked it out of the park with a bunch of freshman getting playing time right away and kicking ass. It caught many by surprise how great the class turned out right away.

I trust these coaches know what they're doing, but I'm still concerned about can we get to Rose bowl quality with the overall talent were landing. We're competitive against the PAC again, but still a ton of work to do to win a PAC north crown.

We had the #1 D in the PAC last year. We got to maintain that and the O needs to take a big step up in 2016.

We put up 26 points on that defense on the road!

Yeah I watched that game. I told my friend before that last series they should take out Pac Man and Burfict because those two idiots are going to do something stupid.
