i beg to differ here this year good sir, Beavz have a nice trio to choose from this year in the backfield…some say the PACs best.
no body out side of Corvallis has said anything even close to this.
UW, Oregon, USC Stanford, maybe Arizona State all better
34-24 SCOREBOARD!

get a beer bish...
see we were talking about when Pete was coaching USC and Oregon State beat them. Nall would have been about 10 so yeah he had nothing to do with it

You realize that the article is referencing the future, right?

Article is pretty spot on, imo.

USC definitely has a lot going for them to be a dynasty. However, while we had a great finish to 2016, there are question marks.

While I don't necessarily agree re: the talent not being up to 2000's level, a lot of it is young, unproven talent, especially the backups. Will that young talent develop into what it could be, or will it disappoint?

Starting with the qb switch, Helton seemed to hit on every decision he made, both in game and out, throughout the season ending win streak. If nothing else, it's good to finally have an adult in charge of the team. However...Was he just riding a hot streak? Or is he really as good as the win streak made him look?

One thing I do take some exception to in the article is that it neglects to mention that the last time USC was coming off a season like 2016 and went into the following season with high expectations, was also when the full force of the sanctions hit. Having a petulant child who acted as if those expectations were already fulfilled as head coach, didn't help matters either.

The reason so many like UW and USC to meet this year in the CCG is their success last year and their schedules this year. Both have questions in regard to building toward dynasties, but if they are going to continue or build off last year they both setup quite nicely for it as long as injuries don't derail them.

UW has another crap OOC slate and nothing too daunting early on. UW has @ colorado as the biggest challenge of the first half and most don't expect the buffs to be anything close to what they were last year. USC has it a bit tougher early with Stanford and Texas, but at least both are at home. And both have reasons to fear them later in the season as Texas is breaking in a new staff and Stanford will be building their offense and finding their stride. USC will be miles ahead of both in that aspect.

UW has depth questions and USC has questions about whether this was just a hot streak, or their staff is the real deal and they are dialed in. Those are much better questions going into next year than every other team in the conference.

I'm sure they'll immediately start targeting Jacob Sirmon because he's committed to Washington and just like with Tuipulotu, it will kill two critical birds with one stone. But his family doesn't have any potential immigration problems so their coaches and boosters will have to try a different $et of promi$e$ to try to get the flip in.

The only pro-style QB left that hasn't committed that USC would deem worthy of their magnificence is Tanner McKee (Corona, CA). But USC hadn't even offered or recruited him. BYU and Stanford were considered his top choices. I'm sure they be making phone calls to his house this weekend about how much they would love him to visit asap.

Flipping an east coast kid will also be their backup plan.

But yes, this means Washington will have to be surrounding the city of Bothell with barbwire now as USC is gonna be going on the flip attack.

As for Corral. Damn.....huge ego blow for USC. Of those three SEC schools, Georgia appears to be likely.

Funny when Washington flips a player committed to another school it's cool , it's playing the game, way to go Pete. A player formerly committed to USC decides to go elsewhere or flips, it's he wanted the possibility of more playing time or less competition. But if God forbid a player flips from your school to USC its because of $$ or benefits.

Then he clearly isn't worthy of our magnificence.

I think a USC player must have fucked Regents girlfriend and then kicked his ass when he complained. :dhd:

2-star OT Christopher Randazzo (Chino, CA) has committed to Oregon. His other offers were ASU, Utah, WSU, and Fresno St.
