Oregon just moved up to 3rd in the PAC on the Scout list. There's supposed to be yet another commit today according to the Oregon boards.

I hate to admit it but Oregon killed it in the recruiting dept. this weekend.

This makes no sense. I was informed Oregon's staff is a disgrace and everyone at Oregon is in panic mode.

Scared of a publicity stunt? Scared of verbal commits long before the next season has even been played?


Hardly.

Wait until those kids see the mess on the field again this year and we will find out how many actually stay committed. If those kids are really 4*+ at this stage and haven't yet played their last year of highschool just wait to see how much pressure there will be for them to flip to teams they won't have to be in rebuilding mode for through their brief stay at this level of the game.

Most of us don't get that hyped up on early verbals for a reason.

USC is 7th UW is 8th

Oregon is 12th on 247 UW is 8th USC is 13th

12th on Rivals following 8th UW and 10th USC

8 out of the lat 10 National Champs have had at least one of the previous four recruiting classes ranked in the top five. The only two who didnt were 2010 Auburn who had Cam Newton and 2016 Clemson who had Deshaun Watson. Clemson had 9th 11th and 15th ranked classes. So you better have some serious good recruiting (top five) and the team that comes with it or have really good recruiting 15 and up and have a seriously good QB.
