That'd be my guess and extension/renewal of the lease thats set to end 2024

One can only hope that they find a way to put on a roof and provide a DART (or equivalent) to provide transpo in/out of the area.

I'd go to more games if I only had to drive to Plano to catch a train to the game....instead of having to drive to Arlington / park / deal with the game traffic afterwards.

If I was closer, i would probably make a bunch more games, but i drive from Tyler. I usually wait about half an hour after the game ends and then walk to the truck thats parked in a pay lot, over by one of the office complexes and then head home. I usually get home about 15 minutes later doing it that way, vs leaving immediately after the game. The transit wouldn't benefit me, though Im sure the local folks would love it. I would be ever so gracious for a roof, on those Sunday day games in July and August, however.

I like that Frazier guy, hate to see him in Chicago. That means we will face him fairly often.

White Sox To Acquire Todd Frazier In Three-Team Deal With Dodgers, Reds

By Steve Adams | December 16, 2015 at 11:18am CST

11:18am: The Dodgers will send infielder Jose Peraza, outfielder Scott Scheblerand infielder Brandon Dixon to the Reds in the deal, tweets Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Heyman adds that the White Sox will send Montas, outfielder Trayce Thompson and second baseman Micah Johnson to the Dodgers.

11:13am: The White Sox will acquire third baseman Todd Frazier from the Reds in a three-team trade that also includes the Dodgers, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports (on Twitter). Yahoo’s Jeff Passan first reported that right-hander Frankie Montas was going to the Dodgers in a trade.

The acquisition of Frazier will give the White Sox a drastically altered infield composition, as he’ll now take over at third base with fellow trade acquisition Brett Lawrie moving over to second base. Frazier, who turns 30 in February, adds a power bat to the middle of Chicago’s lineup to complement fellow right-handed slugger Jose Abreu. The reigning Home Run Derby champion, Frazier has batted a combined .264/.322/.479 with 64 home runs over the past two seasons with the Reds. He’s set to earn $7.5MM in 2016 and can be controlled via the arbitration process for the 2017 season, after which he will be eligible for free agency.

Looks Nap going to sign with the Indians.

If this is true I wish him well and appreciate his time here.

Still a little confused why it seemed signing him was a priority earlier and now it isn't. Was anyone else under this impression?

I was under the impression he was never coming back - meaning, bringing him back wasn't a priority.

Log jam at 1b. If they can't move MM they need to let Nap move on. Hate to see him go but a part time player that can't hit RH pitching is not a hot commodity with MM and Prince in line. Still we need a RH stick in the line up. Work left to do JD so get busy. IDK. ha

Probably, my first mistake was "assuming" Moreland was definitely going to be moved. But I could have sworn there was some press re: Nap and us having mutual interest. And b/c I thought MM was on his way out, it was damn near a done deal.

We do want to not be so LH hitting in 2016 don't we?

I don't know if this should impress me, but owner Ray Davis was a part of the Rangers contingent that went to Cooks Childrens Hospital today, and I find that an incredibly classy gesture.

Light rail is such a waste of public funds. And it's so inefficient as a form of travel. It sounds good in theory, but the niche usage will never justify the absurd cost to build and maintain it.

I'd like to see the Rangers move to downtown Dallas with a retractable roof.

I don't see any roof?
Some are thinking that since the Rangers are putting up a lot of money for this project that that means they are hinting that they are staying in Arlington past the end of the stadium lease. There is some thinking that that means a new stadium right by the current one with a retractable roof. I hope that is the case. Then there are others saying that you can't tie the two things together.

I wonder if they decided to rethink that when they realized what it would cost. The thinking might have been "after all we made the playoffs and almost won a series so why spend a lot to improve."
