Well I don't like the sound of that, but we have Beltre and Banister to corral that shit.

This is true enough. But don't forget about Prince too.

The Rangers have strived to have a good group of guys, at least for the most part, year in and out.

He was sent to Philly last season, and is still a huge medical risk. And you're completely forgetting about Martin Perez.

Maybe get a lefty to play some 1B to spell pearce and you're looking pretty good.

We're already way to stocked with LH hitters, and more in the minors too.

Yes. And I don't like the sound of JoFer's attitude there. I know there's been rumblings that the Rangers could make a play for him. Less enthusiastic about that now.

I was following the off-season guidlines of that article. I thought it was a great plan for you guys to be honest. you're talking about minor tweaks at that point.

I couldn't help but notice the number of managerial openings and Tim Bogar wasn't given a sniff on any of them.

Relatively speaking, he's still a young man and I hope he gets an opportunity.

"He threw maybe the greatest postseason start in Rangers history..."

No, there is no "maybe" about it.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Ross pitches in a ballpark that favors pitching.

I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Young.

I think at this point, that's a massive overpay for Odor. And I love Odor.
I would like to see Odor have a full season without a very bad and very extended slump before I sign him long term.

That was so unlucky...they did it right too. He had a few years under him and was coming off a damn fine year. If he kept that up that deal was a steal...
I wouldn't be surprised if Matt had the bounce back year in 2016 now that he got to a team that figured out his thyroid problem. He came through his back rehab just fine, but lacked velocity. That could very well be attributed to his weight loss caused by his thyroid issue that the Rangers failed to diagnose.

He's a terrific pitcher, no doubt about this. But did you see this article?

The Miami Marlins clubhouse was a circus, literally

Perhaps not great for the clubhouse.
Heh, I was kidding acting like Texas was going to stock up for an arms race. He is a hell of a talent though. We should trade for Harper, Stanton, Gray, and Trout too.

Jeff Baker is a nuisance! Running around giving people high fives and breaking their hands!

Arizona Fall League Top 10 Prospects - BaseballAmerica.com

3. Lewis Brinson, of, Surprise (Rangers)

Brinson long has tantalized with his superb tools and athleticism, and the Rangers’ 2012 first-round pick broke out in 2015 with outstanding performances at each of the top three minor league levels. He continued to show off his potential in 11 AFL games, batting .300/.408/.575 with three triples for Surprise, before leaving to play winter ball in Puerto Rico. Brinson’s development undoubtedly made the Rangers comfortable with the idea of dealing big league center fielder Leonys Martin to Seattle this fall. With more growth in his game likely, Brinson is starting to look like the power-speed profile center fielder teams crave.

*11. Jurickson Profar, dh, Surprise/Rangers

After getting into just 12 games over the past two seasons, Profar came to the Fall League to make up for time lost with a recurring shoulder injury. Limited to DH duties while the shoulder regains strength, the switch-hitting Profar showed a contact-oriented, patient approach at the plate and the ability to work counts. The plus bat from both sides of the plate was part of what made him baseball’s best prospect just a couple of years ago. Scouts had trouble getting a good read on Profar’s speed as he didn’t always run hard to first base and was thrown out on three of four stolen base attempts. Since he didn’t play in the field, there’s still no telling whether his arm strength has returned. Until he starts using his mitt again Profar’s comeback gets an incomplete grade, but at least the early returns on the hit tool are positive.

Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Thanks fellas and you do the same!

For me, staying put with small gathering and preparing: baked chicken thighs, oyster dressing, homemade stuffed celery, deviled eggs, and whole berry cranberries.
