Probably true. But I was more just asking from the Cubs standpoint.

If I'm them, I'm in contact with his agent re: where is his price as of right now? And Price's agent gets the same call.

The Cubs could pull the old, "sign right now for XX dollars, b/c when I walk out the door it's off the table" trick. But then again, Grienke doesn't seem to bluff or fold rather easily now does he? ha ha

It's certainly not great; however, Price is a guy that immediately helps a team get to the Postseason.
