Morning, all. Just stopping in for a minute. Got some wrok to do.

Had a scare with the car this morning. Started clattering when I put her in gear and tried to roll. Thought the tranny was going out. But it was just the valve lifters bitching for oil. Old tank must have a leak that I hadn't detected, or the rings are wearing and she's starting to burn oil. Have to keep a close eye on that from now on.

If it ain't one thing, it's another.

She's a late-90s Chrysler, and I do most of the maintenance and repairs myself. That's why I'm glad it wasn't the tranny. I can't fix one of those.

Of course, I can't fix a fused engine either. Good thing I caught it when she was cold, and running slow.

Stupid fucking oil light didn't come on. Must check a couple times a week from now on.
