they don't have to sell the farm, they have him this year cheap, and next @ FT, and the year after that (if they want with FT+20%). That's a LONG time to work out a deal... he lost ALL his leverage when he cleared as a RFA. it's just posturing right now, can't blame him. he deserves a paycheck... you never go in to buy a car and tell the salesman your maximum price first....

I think they'll be able to sign him to about a 5/40 backloaded deal with around 18 guaranteed and around 8-10M in escalators . with the much bigger cap in 2014 that's really not a big cap hit for what he provides.

I know we disagree on Wallace, but you're off the mark on that ghost.
Look at what WR's get paid more than that. That is barely #2 WR money.

Wallace is a unique threat, not a complete #1 but his production is ridiculous and makes AB look as good as he does by pulling S rotation deep
