get yourself a Browning hi power 9 mm with pacmeir grips. not a lot of recoil for a woman, fits smaller hands fine, and the grips are great for cushioning the power of the gun.

but a ruger .357 is the perfect gun for home defense. loud and easy to aim!

Reason I'm asking is I clean a Sargent of police, he had a glock I wanted but sold it and said he had a revolver now.. Kramer said that is more of a manly gun..

steel if you want it for self defence a 12ga pump is tops,,,the cycling of the action is the most feared sound to the criminal,,,,everyone know what that sound is and wants no part of it

because of how it is intended to be used you want a pistol grip and a 18 inch barrel straight bore no chock,when fired the load opens up very fast,you pretty much can wipe out anything in the room
