maybe so but this was cheap and came with a mouse for 30 bucks and all the buttons work plus it's wireless,,,so even with out the light I'm good,,,oh yeah brand new in the box

got the gear head for less than that for my sister. but wireless means you cant have lights for every damm thing or the batteries die.

but my wireless mouse is kick ass, and was all of 8 dollars.

suggestion, you need a wired keyboard or you cant hit f5 or f8 or f12 when you need to get into the bios, so make sure you have one of them around for emergencies
