Going to get hot here again today and the rest of the week. I like summer but its time for fall weather as I am burned out on 97 + temps.

I dont like the snow except around the holiday season however this year, I think I will take any kind of precip we can get.

Heck, send 12" of that rain up to Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana and Ill. We would all like to share in that. Keep the Hurricane winds though as any heavy winds would lay what crops we have left down.

Yep, but even the run off would help the rivers rise enough to reduce the bottlenecking of barge traffic from up north here down to Gulf along the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.

Dang, it needs to head further west about 300 miles before it reaches landfall to impact us here. Maybe it will change the jet stream patterns enough to get us in a favorable moisture flow?
