Wasn't Kirby the guy that got brutally burned from a housefire some years ago forcing him to step down from coaching?
Not sure where this came from but another interesting choice.

I'm sure his childhood diet consisted of crayons, elmer's glue, boogers and paint chips. Oh and also that rubber glue cement stuff that came in jars with the brush attached to the lid... You know, the stuff that every kid liked to huff at one point or another. Along with the scented markers...The meme is funny, but I have concerns......
Doesn't he strike you as the type that would eat the crayons or even jam them up his nose????
Ahhhhh fuck it, one can only hope huh!!!!!
Yeah he was.Wasn't Kirby the guy that got brutally burned from a housefire some years ago forcing him to step down from coaching?
If she sends an Andy Dalton jersey, I'd just burn the fucker without opening it if I were you.If mrsdickChaney sends me a bunghole Jersey, I'll have backup for when the shitter paper runs out.
Interesting. He doesn't have any strings attached to the Steelers anymore, does he? He was coaching in Minnesota last I heard.Yeah he was.
Actually he was in Cleveland the last two seasons coaching RB's. Not really a vote of confidence there for anyone's career.Interesting. He doesn't have any strings attached to the Steelers anymore, does he? He was coaching in Minnesota last I heard.
Damn, didn't realize he was in Cleveland! Highly doubtful he gets the call. Unless of course the Rooney Rule applies to coordinators? lolActually he was in Cleveland the last two seasons coaching RB's. Not really a vote of confidence there for anyone's career.
Browns part ways with RB coach Kirby Wilson

Words been out for a while now and there's a thread about it on the NFL general board started yesterday at noon. Haley is out of PittsburghGang, I just got a text from a friend in the Burgh.
Toad Haley is now unemployed.
As far as I know the Steelers' tag acts like a placeholder on the player. Should he fail to sign the tag and holdout for 1-5 years, he will still have to go through the Steelers to get back into the NFL. So essentially the Steelers own the rights to him no matter what happens. Remember what happened to Carson Palmer in Cincy? Same issue.@ATL96Steeler
@FaCe-LeE-uS
Again a question about bitch Bell.......
I heard if he retires once they tag his dumb ass, that if he decides to come back next year, Pittsburgh can still tag him because he never fulfilled the tag in the first place.
Any truth to this that y'all know of???

But it makes sense, otherwise players tagged by crappy teams could just sit out a year and then go where they wanted. Without the time frame IMO it would be almost impossible for crappy teams to tag players.I think this is correct...the tag goes with the year of service. If Bell sat out '18...the tag would still apply for the '19 season. Didn't realize it could extend for 5 yrs...yikes!

Thank-you!Good point.
Yep its going to be another roller coaster given Bell's track record of selfishness. Neither side will budge. As much as I'm ready to be done with this Bell situation, it's going to play out for a few weeks for sure...early March we should know the official decision on tag or no tag Bell.
Exclusive...it means they want this guy back one more yr and willing to pay the freight.
Non-exclusive...they're interested, but willing to take their compensation pick in '19.
Didn't mean to use the 5-year mark as a statement of fact. I'm not sure how long it extends. Could be indefinite, but my thinking was if the player holds out longer than 5 years then there's absolutely 0% chance they ever make it back. Bell is 25, 26 years old? What are the chances a 30+ year old RB could come back after 5 years off? Why would he want to at that point, nobody would pay much for him. Hell, even 3 years off would be tough.I think this is correct...the tag goes with the year of service. If Bell sat out '18...the tag would still apply for the '19 season.
