That's what I use just for bon fire wood. But if I were heating my house it would be a different story fo sho..
My brother in law built a splitter that we use when he needs wood, but he's had a few friends lose trees the last couple years so he hasn't been over to get any wood from me. Fucker..lol

I have a friend here who cuts timber and they just leave all the tops to rot most of what I cut isn't more than 6" wood and that to me is perfect size so there isn't that much splitting to do it works out to around 1 load out of 5 that is split wood

no it's not bad I had to split about a 1/3 of what I got today,if I had to split everything I got it would be a bitch
