shared virtual hosting---

a company (godaddy, bluehost, etc) sets up a server box, and configures it to handle hosting of multiple sites--- jrandle.com, leaderocola.com, etc.

you pay less, but if you need absolute priority of resources on the box this can be a drag.


dedicated hosting
you pay for the server to only* host your* site. that way there is less risk of downtime/slow/etc. you pay a lot more for this.... (this is also the only real option if you want to run e-commerce with SSL certificates on your site)

I've been pretty fortunate with my builders and word of mouth, but everyone else has a damn website, I might as well too.

As long as I can have different sections, or pages. I would need pics of all aspects we do, like stamped, grey broomed, exposed, etc..

oh well, it will handle that, you can do that with the design of the site itself (like via the menu system)

Yup, just know a little of html, and you can get up and running quick these days.

Hell, I'm 15 minutes into playing with this new template I bought (earlier link)

loving it.
