Probably true jr.
I just saw that explanation when there were a few people who croaked after eating Jack in The Box burgers, and this is what they said can happen with ground meat as opposed to cuts of beef.
Kinda fuckin gross if ya ask me.

Yeah, after that we started cooking ours all the way through too. Just started cooking them a little less a couple years ago.
Or you can buy that irradiated ground beef, the taste might be a little off, but it's bacteria free.
