Which WR will the Lions select at #5?
Lookie here. The first troll sighting!!
However, don't feel anyone will move up for Milliner. 3 other CB's are rated same. Splitting hairs on the differences.
Milliner because he will be there he's the best CB in the draft, the Lions need him and because I also want him.
Muzz, I know you want Milliner bad. IMO the Lions can get CB in 2nd that is rated just as good. Milliner is not leaps and bounds above the rest like Peterson was. I feel they can get either a OT DE or even G then go CB in 2nd rd and get same talent. Mayhew truly has never made sense to me. Three CB in stable we do not know much about. There is huge holes at OL and DL with nothing in depth.
Milliner graded out as a 93.5 at the combine. Next best CB (Xavier Rhodes) graded out at 86.2. I know these grades aren't an exact science, but Milliner is the consensus #1 CB and there has been talks of the Falcons looking to trade up into the top 5 to get him.
I like game film. A 40 time from one day means little to me. Guys have better pro day times than some combine times. The bench press from combine is one I look at. Forty time to me doesn't show if he jumps a route. how he opens hips and turns with his guy, closing speed, can he man up...
I am no scout and never profess to be right. Just like film better.
Anybody catch Mayhew's comments about not swinging for the fences with pick #5, but just taking the guy who's ready to step in and play?
Does that mean no Ansah/Jordan, or is it just a smokescreen?
just saying BPA will not be used say if Shariff is there.I dont think BPA is anywhere near out the window. At 5 the BPA is going to be a DE, OL or CB. BPA/need are going to align this year.
Someone might bite to move up. Then we get my guy Chance Warmack!!
