He played RT for two years in Buffalo, anything else?

Ohh he started 10 games in Buffalo and immediately was switched to LT and stayed there the rest of his career lol. If we had position requirements, yours would be more of a liability.

When I thought of this idea I was thinking about position requirements but since there was already a ton of research to do I decided not to include.

Thanks for your opinion though and caring!!!

You have never said anything more ridiculous. The only reason he moved to LT is because with a right handed QB it's the more important position and he's the best offensive lineman on the team, he is the prototypical RT size and strength wise and thankfully I don't need him at LT.

Could just admit you wanted Seau but you weren't going to give up a guy with one leg for him

I feel severely discrediting a LT or RT and especially a LG or RG is insulting to these great players.

Sorry I forgot to say swapping positions.

Like I have 0 doubt McDaniel wouldn't of been a a HOF RG.

I can understand if a guy was RT his whole career and not a HOF and then you throw him at LT you have some worries...but I mean if someone took Tyron Smith/Trent Williams as their RT I wouldn't be too worried.

I understand the difference in footwork just don't think its of high magnitude for the all time greats.

Maybe I've been knocked for it before but I've never been one to be concerned with two left tackles or a guard.

I tend to just stay in my lane with respects to football as I'm not as sure of the nuances of certain positions and requirements. So if people around here view it some type of way, I have no problem conforming to those more knowledgeable on it.

But for the most part I tend to agree with the logic. But perhaps my reasoning is because I'm more of a basketball fan and positions in that sport don't seem to matter as much nearly as skill set. The skill set determines what you can do and what positions you play. Like just because Tim Duncan played PF the majority of his career doesn't mean you couldn't play him at C against say Ewing and him still be the same exact player.

But again, it's apples and oranges when you're comparing the sport, so what the hell do I know, lol.

No skill set does matter absolutely. Like anyone who think LT couldn't of been a HOF Wide Nine Defensive End? I do, but you'd have to run a wide nine scheme and that's not something that happens much / is drafted for.

Darren Woodson would of been an amazing Moneybaker if he played 15 years later. Etc. The skills pay the bills!

If we have position requirements than so be it, same for me---it doesn't matter. This one doesn't have position requirements.

But just my opinion, I didn't play football growing up but I had friends that did and one that played OL in high school and college. It really depends on the player but I would think a lot of great lineman could play most of the OL positions excluding center but like I said it depends on the player. I think guards are pretty much interchangeable especially with the greats. Tackles could be but not as much imo. Either way it doesn't matter in this draft with no position requirements...therefore the voting shouldn't be judged on it.

It has absolutely nothing to do with discrediting a player, I simply believe you should play a player at a position he played.

For me every draft has position requirements I don't enforce them because some people have cried about it and it's just not worth the bother anymore.
