Thought I would post the highlights, Whitecaps moving the ball around nicely in the final third, great to see...

in hindsight I probably should have bought the tickets even with the mandatory 1 regular season game ticket purchase. Sounds like it was a real spectacle and one of those "you had to be there" moments in Vancouver sports history even though the stakes of the game were kinda meh.

Mind you I already saw an old washed up legend perform at BC Place 2 nights prior and I was all full up :behindsofa:

/was great that Messi got boo'ed and no Vancouver player asked for his shirt post game lol

//that gate revenue last night was around 2.5 shmill :jaw: Whitecaps get none of the concession revenue though oof

I think you're always worried about having a bad performance in front of a big crowd and let's be honest, the Whitecaps have made headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. The fact that they played some attractive football, scored two goals, and kept a clean sheet is just the tonic that the market needed.

That's three consecutive promotions for Wrexham, by the way.

Very impressive, but it will be very different at this level. Spending to field a competitive roster will be much higher and hard to see them doing that.

Looking forward to them throttling Saints in the Championship next season :D

Nice to see Spurs just rolling over for Liverpool to gift them the title.
