The belief at Bengals.com is that things got better when he returned. Well ESPN put up a graphic, the Bengals led the league in sacks rushing 4 or less. My dead grandma, God bless her........(me holding back tears, voice crackling) could cover with 4 pass rushers and seven dropping into coverage. I think S. Williams will be fine.

I believe in him a whole lot more than Crocker that is for sure. Sure, Crocker is a good leader and united our secondary, but coverage skills had gone to crap and he found himself out of positions at times.

It isn't worth signing him again and risking that money on him returning to 2011 Crocker.

Just like when we drafted Geno Atkins it was like .....WTF??? Everyone know's who Atkins is now....Carrrier and Zimmer wanted a hard hitting leader in the safety position... 1 who will jump on the mean man train with Harrison and Burfict and have an IDENTITY! Nelson will play the Free and Williams will do MUCH BETTER then any other SS we have on our team...I trust in Zimmer and Carrier and how they will coach this kid up.. He is not Cyprien in terms of coverage but I also feel he HITS HARDER and tackles better than Cyprien.....Good pick and although I like Mayock he shitted on Atkins and some other players so he is not PERFECT with his assessments...

I hate Mayock..... I don't see why everyone likes the dude. He's wrong as often as the other guys. Hell, his top qb from two years ago was Blaine Gabbert.

Williams was the vocal leader on a defense that included Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree. Have to like that. He called out other starters for playing to soft. Better than Taylor Mays lighting up his own team mates rather than the opposing ball carrier.

He looks big. Hopefully he moves better than Mays.

He looks like a player though.... Between him and Harrison, we might actually have some mean dudes on the team. Even our good players (like Atkins) are too nice.

I'm pretty sure Atkins was a Choralier in HS.

Williams does everything good, but nothing great. He's not fast, not a great athlete, but he's smart and was praised for his leadership.

At his spot, we don't need a play maker as much as we need a guy to not fuck up and give up the big play. It'd be nice if he made his own big plays as well, but I'd be happy with competence first.

He is fast, he ran a 4.46 or something close to that at the combine. Now whether Zimmer can get him to play fast is another story.
