Nothing comes remotely close to SB18. Redskins were clear favorites & they were utterly destroyed. The playoff loss to the Seahawks in 2012 was also really bad since at the time it appeared that the Redskins could actually make a playoff run. They did well early on & then not only did they lose the game but their QB & doubt starting creeping into the organization (which obviously would get worse over time).

This one didn't seem as bad to me since - while it still stung - it seemed obvious in the aftermath that this team really didn't deserve to be in the playoffs - way too many holes & blown opportunities.

I could almost stomach 12, because you thought you would pick right up where we left off in 13. At least I thought we had a dynamic mvp caliber player for the next decade.

This one could really change the trajectory of the franchise. What if Scot doesn't believe and decides to draft Deshaun Watson, run Seattle's offense, take Kirk's 24m spend it elsewhere and chase Kenny Fucking Britt?

Skins would have won if Jurgensen could have played.

Are you talking about the pass that hit the goalpost?

Another not as shown or known play in that SB was Charley Taylor being wide open for looked to be a sure TD. Ss Billy K's pass nears him. With his next step his foot lands in a divot in the field and he stumbles. This turns what looks like an on target pass hitting Charley in stride. Into a pass that flloats pout of hos reach and harmlessly tp the ground.

The Dolphins were the better team that day imo, even with those two plays that really weren't anyone's fault. And full disclosure the Dolphin had a, I dunno, a 70 something yard TD bomb from Griese to Warfield called back as well,

The loss to the Raiders in the Super Bosl was hard as well. That's one of the few times Joe Gibbs and crew were decidedly out-coached in all areas of the game.

Another really painful one was losing to TB in the divisional playoff in 99. And the play that will forever haunt me from that game, aside from the bad snap on the FG att at game's end Was Brad Johnson underthrowing a wide open Albert "Sticky Fingers" Connell by what looked like 7 to 10 yards. I don't know if it was by that muuh, yeah it had to be. Cuz John Lynch was way behind Connell and the CB covering Connell was beat by a good 3 or 4 yards. I think the Skins would've had a damn good shot at beating the Rams that year. For whatevr reason thje Skins just matched well with the Rams back than.

Speaking of the Rams of that time. Anyone remember that MNF agsint the Rams where it looked like Champ would have a 109 yard INT ret for a TD. And outta nowhere Orlando Pace tracked Champ's down near midfield making a TD saving play. Jeff George and his whiny ass led the Skins to a W that night.

That's a game where we had no business winning......You guys were heavy favorites, cause once again,we were with out our starting qb McMahon.(we would still be the dogs tho)And we had to go with Steve Fuller.
That was one helluva game..........

But you guys got us back in 86 playoffs after we came off that incredible 85 season........I wa actually at that game and paid good money for those tix..........Just watch us get our asses handed to us by Art Monk and Thiesmann(maybe?)

That had to make you smile..............

Jay Schroeder in 86.

I prefer the 87 playoff win against Chicago. Doug Wiliiams and Darrell Green had some starring roles in that one.

The bad snap was from Dan Turk (brother of long time Redskins punter Matt). Sadly - Turk would die of cancer less than a year after this loss. That game also featured a great kick return for a TD by Mitchell.

Yeah, that game hurt. Hate to to lose home playoff games. But we just got physically man handled that day. 86 and 87 did make up for it though. Can't believe you guys started Flutie that day.

Me either...........You can thank Charles Martin of the packers for slamming Jim McMahon down on the tirf after the play was over and separating his shoulder.
flutie,what a waste.

Dude, are you serious? Why do you think there is all the emotion and testosterone in all these posts? Everybody was upset. But just because you are upset with the way the wallpaper turned out, you don't burn the house down.

No. Some people on here expected us to lose which I find troubling. They brushed it off as no big deal when you can make the argument that is was the worst loss in Redskins history.

Turk's buggered snap vs Tampa. It was the first time I ever saw my Redskins in the playoffs. Having it end like me made me flare up every time I heard the name Turk. >:(

The Bills game where Joe Gibbs messed up calling back to back time outs to ice their kicker. The only reason is because so many "supposed" fans turned against Coach Gibbs afterwards; saying the games passed him by and hiring him was a mistake. I was never more embarrassed and ashamed of my fan base in that moment.

2012 playoff loss to Seattle. Just because RG-3 got hurt.

2013 vs Kansas City. I went to that game. First time I ever left a game while it was still in progress.
