I expect with all these newer rules to see a lot of those low scoring games to drop down the list of top 50 going forward.

In the last calender year, we have had 3 first time ever scores as well.
Last year's playoff game Texans @ Chiefs. 51-31 KC
Sept 27 49ers @ Giants. 36-9 SF
Nov 15. Bucs @ Panthers. 46-23 TB.
I doubt that means anything other than a fluke anomoly but interesting that in this age of offense, we are seeing some odd scores.

A lot of that has to do with 2 pt conversions being attempted more & more.
Sometimes making a 2 pt makes the odd score, sometimes missing a 2 pt makes the score odd.
Back in the day there was no such thing.

Those 2 games this season had one 2pt attempt each. Both failed. The pkayoff game had none. It might be part of it as you say @Schmoopy1000 and maybe missed extra points play a factor as well. Since they changed the rules on those, we have seen a lot.

Also true. A lot more misssed extra points now. Then they go for 2 & fail (trying to make up for missed xp) there will give really odd scores.

Yeah 29 is an oddball number for sure. Also, on those ones @PhilSimms11 posted, 25 not a big surprise to me.
