It's a mock draft tool. If he makes it to that pick in the tool, that's all I can go by. As Retro noted, that could just be a pivot to Latu instead (I doubt Turner is the one to fall, but who knows?), or to CB, OT, OC, etc...

I like this Day 3 QB and he fits the Rams mold for a developer that the Rams can pick-up in the 6th round for sure. With the potential return of Wentz or even Mayfield, this Joe Milton guy has a strong arm, is a big guy (6-5, 235) like Wentz and we could get him without too many problems.

Yeah, I understand.

I use a site as well, and some of the mocks have players dropping to 19 that just won’t happen. I don’t draft those players in the mock because I feel it is not realistic.

For instance, I did one the other day had Fashanu available at 19. I didn’t take him even though he was available because it wasn’t realistic. That’s just not going to happen in the draft.

I’m sure he moves up a lot of teams boards after his combine.

I pulled a Snead and traded out of the 1st round. Picked up another 2nd and a 4th rounder. Missed out on the stud CB’s, but found 3 good ones later.

This emerging scenario has the Rams and Bills making a trade on Draft day. The Rams and Bills would swap First Round picks, sending the Bills to 19 to get their DB help (they just gave Taylor Rapp an extension-talk about getting hosed) and we would go to 28 but we would also pick-up a Third AND a Fourth Rounder. Check it out.

Yea if we don't make a trade with somebody on draft day, both of those mocks are damn good, ALR.

Now that we signed Dotson to a three-year deal and will probably tender A. Jackson at Left Tackle, the Rams can now focus on O and D-lineman for a starter and back-ups. There is a growing belief that the Rams will go after players like Bortolini, Powers-Johnson, Beebe, Guyton, Latham, or Sumataia. We may take Powers-Johnson at 19 and get Guyton in the Second Round. The others are Second to Third Rounders and beyond.

The developing belief is that the Rams are going to move Avila to center if Shelton leaves and plug-in a very huge and capable Cooper Beebe at Left Guard. A. Jackson will probably take the RFA tendered offer which sets us to draft a Left tackle, a Right Tackle, and a Center like Powers-Johnson for back-up.

So the likely scenario is the draft would be Powers-Johnson, Beebe, and either Guyton or Latham for LT and future RT.

Should be interesting to see what the Rams are going to do in the First Round and it is apparent they are not going to trade out of the First Round.

The twins are protecting their first Rounder and they are showing signs of staying there but trading-up or down within it.

It's weird though, much like Worthy he didn't really do anything that wasn't already in his tape or profile. Fast guy runs fast, QB with erratic big arm throws 70 yards.

Bills needed some continuity at safety, with Poyer cut and Hyde a FA that is likely gone as well. I don't think Rapp starts unless it's as a bridge to newly drafted safeties.

Rams picking up 3rd and 4th rounders (147 points) would actually be under the value to move from 28 to 19 (215 points) per the value chart.

The PFF one is worse, as it doesn't take into account team needs. Almost every time it has Jayden Daniels available at #19.

It doesn't seem there is much consistency in the OT ranks (other than Alt at 1) or Edge. Different mocks have different guys slipping. Fashanu's spot depends on what the team needs are, as he's seen mostly as a LT only and a better pass protector than run blocker. Teams that need a RT more or a power guy might look elsewhere.
