the whole thing about all this. Lakers traded the wrong guy. Donic/AD is freaky.
Perhaps. We really won't know for a couple of years but the Lakers do have some obvious weaknesses that they have to all play team ball to win games. I am pretty sure the Lakers will probably not get out of the West because of it.

I never posted on the general board that the Lakers would play for a championship, THIS YEAR. They have several things to get resolved and we know what they are. This one is done. Later...

figured it would happen. Lakers traded away a mismatch down low which I said from the beginning.. Yess. I always got it.. Doncic is a future generational player. I get that. But you dont trade your mismatch advantage for hm. You keep it. Why is management so fucking stupid today. Its common sense. You keep the mismatch advantage and trade your future parts for him. You keep AD/ bring on Doncic and trade away LeOld and the rest of the pointless trash.. Thats how this works. Sorry but thats life

In my mind, they have missued Hachimura because when he scores less than double figures, the Lakers usually have a tough time reducing a big deficit lead.
I have said this for years.

They really under-appreciate him and don’t use him offensively the way they should.

If that's what LBJ has left in the tank, it may be time to hang em up. Great career, but he looked old tonight.
Reaves owes them a big night after that piss poor effort as well

T-Wolves aren’t going to hit 50% from 3 every game or hit a franchise record 21 3’s in a game.

This series may very well go 6 or 7 games but we will know whether that is going to happen or it may be a sweep scenario for a Lakers early exit from the Post-Season.

Lunch was guac, mustard, turkey and colby jack cheese on toasted wheat bread. 2 delicious sammiches.

Dinner (soon) is one of the wife's meal preps she recently made for me.....decided on meatballs with mashed taters topped with brown gravy and broccoli as the veggie.

Thanks for joining me on this health journey, folks. And follow me for more dietary advice.

Got my metaformin and low testosterone gel today. SMH.

No way we get swept.

But game 2 is a must win, we cannot go to Minnesota down 0-2 or it's just how many games will it go.

Oh boy have I missed a lot. Haven't logged on in a while. I still watched all the games yesterday. Nothing too surprising except that Lakers loss. I really thought we were going to win. Thunder dominated as usual.

Since I have been banned from every other NBA general forum by LeBitches, I guess I will do a self game commentary. This should be a good series though. You may think I'm wrong but this is a series Lakers will miss AD. UKCowgirls won't like the opinion cause he thinks Luka is '86 Bird. Goebert may be the difference maker
You got banned?

Is this true, @trojanfan12?

I think it would be smart for the Lakers to run their offense through LeBron tonight. It's clear the Wolves will play Luka straight up, figuring if he gets 40, the rest of the team sucks so bad that they will still win. Going through LeBron would throw their D a curveball, and Luka can still take the game over at any time if necessary

And I agree with Chuck. Bron has to defend in game 2, put him on Reid when he is in and Randle when he isn't.

And Vandy and DFS need to be in there to defend. DFS had 33 but Vandy had just 14. Each needs a minimum of 20-22mpg. Maybe cut back on Gabe's 25 minuites in game 1 and limit him to 15-16 or so.

Minny had 27 wide open 3's in game 1. Out of their 42 attempts. That cannot happen again.
They also aren’t going to hit 50% and 21 3’s in a game again even if they have those open looks.

The odds are in the Lakers favor to play the odds and let some of those guys jack up 3’s.

They just hit above average in game 1. Odds are, they won’t ever do that again.

They hit 37.7% from 3 as a team this season.
