The point deficit is 31 points. That is two ass-whippins in-a-row. First it was Milwaukee and now Chicago. WTF???

The Lakers just got beat by 31 points 146 to 115 by a bottom feeder team from Chicago with all of the Lakers starters playing. This is beyond bizarre.

Before last night....Luka was averaging 30, 8 and 8 in his last 10 games...

Just the 2nd player in Lakers team history to do that. Behind who?

Yep, LeBron James.

Did not see the game since the wife and I went to a local steakhouse.....

The Lakers took the night off and didn't play defense?

Can’t believe they got their butts handed to them by a sub-500 Bulls team.

What happened to their defense last night?

Offense played well enough, but that defense, yikes!

Better figure it out for seeding purposes and some momentum going into the playoffs or they will be one and done.

I agree. They just decided not play Defense apparently! They sat Western Knecht for nearly the whole game and he got in with 2 minutes left in the game. Redick was acting-like he had just toked-up on the good shit before the game. Man that was a bizarre game!

I watched the game last night. First time I this season I have reason to question if J.J. is the right man for the job. That team gave absolutely zero effort on D last night. None, zip, nada. A good college team would have beaten them. It was all star game level defensive effort

Yep, UK Caboy, alot of folks today are expressing the same sentiment. Redick appeared he was somewhere else. No Defense was the MO and his substitutions and rotations looked like Ham's bullshit of a couple of years ago.

His rotations made little sense. He didn't even play Western Knecht until 2:30 left in the Game. He destroyed the team chemistry and play that was developing over the last 6-8 games especially since James went out. Just bizarre!!

A lot of people have believed this for quite some time. Nico literally dumped a huge gift into Pelinka's lap and changed the face and the culture of the Lakers in one trade. AD was not only injury-proned but he was often perceived as soft and could easily be bulllied especially in the post-season.

No college team would ever beat a pro
team.

In basketball or football. Ever.

Sorry dude. UK Caboy, college teams in both Basketball and Football have beaten Pro teams. The Packers lost to a college team in 1963. From 1934 through 1976, a preseason match called the Chicago Charities College All-Star Game was always played between the previous season's NFL champion and a team of the previous season's star college seniors. Forty-two of these games were played, and the college all-star teams won 9 of them, lost 31 of them, and tied 2 of them. In the 70's, the Steelers lost to a college All-Stars team.

Why are you here? Clearly not a Lakers fan.

Lakers had 21 turnovers and played no defense (Bulls shot 58%). That was the reason for the loss. Lakers have been playing with a vastly different offense for a few weeks now and tried to throw everyone back in the mix at once. They played like they forgot how to play together. Lebron had a slow start (rust from sitting out 2 weeks), but got it going in the 2nd half offensively.

You expect turnovers from the guys making a lot of plays (Lebron, AR, Luka), but Lebron and Luka were definitely not sharp in this regard. You can't have Vando making 3 turnovers in 11 minutes.

Len and Reddish shouldn't play another minute as a Laker. Dump them and sign Goodwin and Koloko to the 15. Case could be made for Jemison or some other street free agent, but that would be in place of Koloko (or perhaps a third cut, but I don't see one likely). Shake is a valuable trade chip during the offseason as a non-guaranteed contract and Morris is a locker room guy and Lebron favorite.
