They have to figure out what to do with AR. He cannot start with Bron and Luka....in the main NBA thread @trojanfan12 brought up bringing AR off the bench and they could stagger Bron and Luka's mpg so they always have a good ballhandler on the court.

Bron can play off the ball with Luka (he had been doing that some the last few seasons with AR handing more of the ballhandling duties and the offense going through AD this season) so he should be fine....but AR isn't much of a catch and shoot guy so him coming off the bench would help improve that area.....and that has been a weakness all season. We're like 28th in bench scoring.

I think AR plays a lot. I think Luka and LBJ start and finish the game together, but I think the minutes they sit will be staggered against each other and they will keep AR in with whichever guy is on the court

Yeah, I can see that.....just not all 3 of them together.....or very limited time together.

They could get a lot for AR and that 1st i think. And if it doesn't work out with Dirk/LBJ, sending LBJ and AR to a team of LeBrons choice could bring a haul

Reaves is starting to really turn into a nice player and I don't think they keep him.

Knecht is more of a shooter and he and Reaves are pretty similar.....but Knecht could be a catch and shoot guy, Reaves isn't really that type of player.

You have to give up something to get Luka. Lakers got off extremely light as it is.

They only have one healthy on the roster that is eligible for the postseason (2 way players are not). Lakers need to waive at least one player and at least add Koloko or Jemison if they don't find someone else on the buyout market.

Maxi could return in April, but can't count on that. Who knows what the story is with Wood.

Hayes is serviceable.

Counting on Williams who has missed 60% of his NBA games in his young career was a long shot to start with.

I’m glad the trade got rescinded. The Lakers gave up way too much for an injury prone center.

I agree ALR. The Lakers will be fine the rest of the season with what they already have. Kokolo has already been added to the Standard Contracts Roster. If Wood comes back soon, we should be just fine as well.
