So...Dupuis scored. Nice. Geno looks dominant, and Fleury sharper than ever. Yep...

Isles feed has Gillies saying "We didn't care if they wanted to fight, we were a band of brothers." Not to bring that up again, but for cereal dude? I understand coming to your teams 'rescue' with the fists occasionally, but that's not an excuse for fighting guys who didn't want to. *sigh* I don't think that game will ever go away.

Some other notes: Danny B's 200th career game behind the bench.

Now on a 4 on 4, combo interference on Martin and diving on Cooke. I'd rather they just didn't call anything on that play...Martin bumped Cookie off-balance. Only Cookes 4 PIM this season.

Grabner goes down on a good diving poke from Lovejoy. Blah. First PP of the game.

Same score at the end of 2. Pens looking rather dominant for long stretches, but still an up and down game.

14...that's the number of stupid comments Steigerwald made during the broadcast.

*It would be higher if I counted EVERYTIME he said (Insert player here) was "dancing" on their skates.

I think he set a record for different pronunciations of Staios as well...

Had to pleasure to listen to the game rather than watching only to find out Lange didn't call it.

It was his grandmothers 100th birthday.

BTW...Steve Mears is blah but still better than Steigy...

I sure hope Mears replaces Steiggy. I know it won't happen, but they were especially terrible tonight. They unprofessionally ripped on the Isles org., fan base, arena situation, and other things, as well as just making bad mistakes and going on pointless tangents throughout the broadcast.

Mears replacing Steiggy would be nice. I think why I thought Mears was blah because he is very green but at least you can listen to him. The biggest thing nice was the fact he didn't act like the biggest homer. Heck Steiggy isn't paid by the Penguins and still acts that way.

I could only imagine how bad it was. On top of that I am so sick of them missing simple things like when players leave the ice, penalties, player names, etc....

Anyway back to the game since I didn't see it but heard the game. You have to give both teams props for not letting it get out of hand and just play the game. Also scratching Gillies and Macintyre helped.

I had a good excuse for not being here, last nite. I was moving my family from California to Pennsylvania. Move went well, and I already have the Directv installed at the new place :D

Center Ice FTW!!:)

Marc-Andre just said no. The Isles had no chance.

Did they really?!? Do they forgot that they were pretty close to becoming the Kansas City Penguins just a few short years ago?
