I'm thinking the Jets but rooting for the Broncos
I thought I heard somewhere winning was important to him. What do the Jets have? I would say Vikings or Broncos. Jags would have been in the conversation if they didn't re-sign Bortles.

There must be an ex coach of his with the Jets if he's seriously looking there. The Browns would be a better choice than the Jets. Vikings or Broncos would both be good choices.

It isn't like he is going to sign a contract for the vet minimum. He is going to get paid well no matter where he goes. Not saying that he might not follow the money, but if he were to sign in Denver or Minneapolis he will not be in line for food stamps.

I'd prefer to draft QBOTF vs Cousins in an ideal world. Problems I have with signing Cousins is WE AREN'T as young in spots or good as we were when PFM came on board along with FA signings we added. How many other FA's could we sign in FA with Kurt on board? Of course I'm not the guy building team so we'll see. We should know by the 20th who our FA QB is.

What would it take to create the cap space?

Dump Talib, CJ Anderson and then it's up in the air from there. Might need to cut Wolfe and move on from at least one of our wideouts (DT and Sanders). Some of those moves are going to happen regardless of the direction the Broncos go at QB. The Broncos are also going to move on from some unproductive players like O linemen, linebackers and others.

Sounds like that would not be a killer for you and of course the upgrade at QB should more than compensate for those losses.

Manelik Watson is the first dump. Doubt we dump Wolfe and DT...

Sanders is still up in AIR IMO, it will depend on who we roll with at QB.

Anderson, Watson seem like givens. Talib seems very likely although if we didn't sign Cousins....

Pretty much my same thoughts. I would hate to lose Wolfe the most (depending on his injury procedure). He was on the radio yesterday talking about rumors that he could be cut. That is one passionate Bronco. Would absolutely suck to lose him.

I think some of these guys would be fine if they just took a slight paycut. "Some" not all.

If we don't land Cousins I'd figure this is the last year for our starting WR's in Denver both being 30 plus.

I see no story that Watson was cut. I saw something saying Watson was staying earlier this week.

Elway said at the combine that Watson and Wolfe were staying, but avoided that question for Talib and CJ.

Yeah that's why it's so interesting. He also has said he feels a responsibility to future QBs to set the bar as high as he can. He did say winning was important to him which is one of the reasons he wanted out of Washington. Who knows if the Jets situation is better than Washington?

DC made the comment that Watson was the first dump so I was confused.

Elway said that Watson was staying and you said he was dumped. You usually are pretty accurate with your information.

I said he is the first dump. Not "was"

It is a prediction.

Where did you see he was staying? That seems near impossible to me. Or just stupid and makes no sense to keep him. For the money he got he was horrid!
