The Huskers were not mentally ready to play that game

Plain and simple........I don't care how anyone tries to twist the story.

4 dropped TD passes..........10 dropped passes overall.............9 penalties for 90 yards..............one of the worst fumbles I think I've ever seen on our own 20 yard line.

The entire offense was playing in the first half like they just expected to be able to run all over the place.

I am concerned about Nebraska's lack of focus at home.........I just don't get it. They go on the road and they mean business...........then they play at home and they look lazy.

Those were some pretty good "should have been caught for but weren't" TD passes that Taylor and Zac threw. Is this our Iowa State game for 2010? When Bo breaks down the game film he will be livid. The Huskers tried to take what Texas was willing to give up but failed.

I remember Osborne had a bowl curse until he said okay no more vacations this is a business trip. He practiced the hell out of them and locked them down at night and we started to win games. Perhaps Pelini needs to figure out what their pre-game rituals are.

Well, for Texas this was NOT just another game on the schedule. They came out as a whole and were prepared to win.

All week long the coaching staff has made it a top priority to let everyone know that this is just another game and that they weren't going to put extra emphasis into winning that one game.

The problem is that when the opposing team is not treating the game the same way, it's easy to come out flat.

You hit the nail on the head jack john, that is EXACTLY what I have been thinking. All week long they downplayed the significance of this game. Now I don't know what was said in practice but if it was anything similar to what they were saying publicly then I understand why we lost.

This wasn't "just another game" this was THE FUCKING TEXAS GAME. Did they forget that this is the game they were looking forward to for 10 months? Did they forget about those gay ass bracelets they wear?? NO ONE was fired up before the game, not Bo, nor the players. Bottom line: we were beaten before the opening kickoff...

ive never like him, i wanted him gone about half way thorugh last season,
and I NO IM NOT THE ONLY ONe that wanted him gone last year.

whan you refuse to change a gameplan when its not working, there is obviously and issue.
