I am pretty sure he knows defense.

Show him what the offense will look like for the next four years, because you know he is wishing Michigan State had an offense this year.

You realize we'd be bringing in another defensive guru from Youngstown right? He's good though, that's fer sure.

the Huskers needs a head Couch ---that is all
-------
There are so many gambles in dealing with hiring an assistant. Can he hire assitants that not only can coach palyers, recruit players, and respect your decisions as a HC. On those three points I'd grade Bo D, C- & C-. Factor in working with the AD & the media (not two of Bo's strong points either), and hiring an assistant just makes me nervous. Even Frank only hired two decent assistants (at the time of the hires). Bohl and he left & Bo and we're now seeing what's been lacking with him.

The other issue is that many times hiring an experienced HC they sometimes take some of thier own assisitants with them. Open the pocketbook, hire someone witht proven track record, and give the new HC the financial leverage to hire assistants he knows will succeed.
