The Gut, The Matchup, The Best...

Watching the NFL games week 1 will some fellas in my league and some fellas in other leagues....

I overheard some thought processes...

Had the guy going with gut for player lineup.

Had the matchup vs matchup which wr has which cb on him or run def vs. his rb.

Had the I'm playing my best players no matter what sink or swim.

Had the only looks at his vs. team owners players and tries to beat him (i.e. in the moment week to week only owner.)

Anyone else hear or have something like one of these four...

Match up > gut > player

But player is the tie breaker.

Matchup and gut are pretty related though the way I look at it. I guess my gut considers the match up first.
