Wilson wasn't left standing, no oar or paddle, he was washed up alone on an Island, until some Fed Ex guy showed up

Actually, the island was Jamaica, Ciara giving a concert paying homage to Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, the QB thing held in the morning just for kicks. Watching all those legends paddle away (to Trinidad) and only Wilson left standing there alone only to have Ciara run over and jump into his arms, smiles all around.

Maybe Bob's and Tosh's spirits were giving Ciara some Buffalo Soldier action, no woman no cry. Or Ziggy laid down the gauntlet

Don't care about age this is about NFL seasons, ok? Hell, Staubach did what by 32 NOTHING!!!!!!!!, we all get his unique situation.

You know the deal with Wilson, so why ask?

Dude, why are you fighting this like you are? You really don;t get nobody had a better first nine seasons than Wilson, really?
I’m just trying to get you to talk about something relevant. Nobody cares about first nine seasons any more than they care about first thirteen seasons or first four seasons. Once you’re in the league a few years what matters is cumulative accomplishments and how long you have left to get more.

How long does Wilson have left?

How about....

He holds the record for most wins by an NFL quarterback through nine seasons (98) and is one of four quarterbacks in NFL history with a career passer rating over 100. In April 2019 Wilson signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension with the Seahawks, making him the highest paid player in the NFL at the time.

How about.....

Share All sharing options for: Russell Wilson becomes 1st quarterback with a winning record in each of his first 9 seasons. With a blowout 40-3 win over the Jets on Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks secured their ninth straight winning season.Dec 14, 2020

How about....

The touchdown pass was the 250th of Wilson’s career. He joins Dan Marino and Peyton Manning as the only players to reach that milestone in their first nine seasons. Aaron Rodgers needed fewer games than any of them to get 250, but he waited longer to get started

Wilson is 8-of-10 for 86 yards and the Seahawks forced the first turnover of the game to set up the scoring drive.

Want more talking those first nine seasons for Russell Wilson?

Stop calling me Rosendo, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

I agree wins are team stats, but they do appear to count when talking QB success.

QB Island, hmmmm?

All those who never won a superbowl grab a paddle, see ya!
All those who didn;t play all 16 games their rookie season, grab an oar, bye!
All those who have less than a 100 career passer rating be gone.
All those who never rushed for 500 or more in a season.....adios!

So who is left standing, yep......Russell Wilson
Big Ben went undefeated as a rookie so Big Ben > RW

Hey if you can pigeon hole stats I can pigeon hole stats.

Not about A stat, it's about the combination of everything it takes to judge a QB,

starts
wins
comp%
yards
TD/INT
passer rating
rushing

Taking all that into consideration there is nobody who did it better the first nine seasons of their NFL career than Russell Wilson.

Who ya got that did it better?

Well considering all Wilson has his nine seasons, how else do you do this?
You just talk about his career and what he's accomplished and where he can end up. Or compare him to his contemporaries.

Coming up with nutty formulas to try to make him look like the all-time greatest actually just diminishes him. He doesn't need that.

Dude has 98 wins and crazy low INTs, extends drives with his legs, and has been a reliable producer week-in and week-out, year-in and year-out for his whole career. As I said at the outset, he's the best QB to come into the league from 2006-2015.
