Good: We have the nucleus of a very good young team next year

Bad: We did not have the young receivers on the field (healthy) enough to know what we have

Ugly: Dennard and Talib still getting injuries when we need them. Will this continue? How does this situation affect re-signing?

Do we cut Amendola? He is a productive receiver but.....

From what I have read, and been told, Amendola reached whatever triggers he needed to reach to have his salary guaranteed for next year.

Don't know how this bullshit got in his contract.

I am likewise very disappointed. The Pats are a very young team and this season will be a good learning experience going forward. Definately needed are fast pass rushers and fast WR's. On Amendola, he had decent stats for the number of games he played but he was certainly no bargain financially. I might be inclined to trade him for a high draft choice or let him go to free up some cap space (I don't know how much dead money the Pats would incur by doing that). Edelman is our #1 slot receiver and between Thompkins, Boyce, Moe (coming off IR) and a possible low cost FA, slot receiver could be covered just as well for less money.
