To me, it seems like most of the time, the team that wins the coin flip, defers.

Seems like teams rarely choose to receive first.

I meant to say that sometimes the team defers the decision and the other side chooses to kick the ball first. It doesn’t happen very often.

So that means:

1st quarter: Bills choose to receive first, and chose direction right to left.
2nd quarter: Sides are switched, so Bills now left to right, Chiefs right to left.

No, I think in that first quarter bills chose to receive first and the Chiefs decided that the Chiefs wanted to go left or right. So therefore, the Bills had to go right to left. Plus, I think the team that chooses the heads or tails is the home team first and away team in OT.

They were both great. I liked seeing the coin not flip.

And I liked how the referee misheard or misremembered in the 2nd video.
