In 2011-2012 Kuba played primarily with the top scoring defenseman in the NHL (Karlsson). In 2013 he has played (for the most part) with the 2nd leading scorer among defensemen from that year (Campbell, who is 7th this year).

I think Kuba can thank Karlsson for his 2 year $9M dollar contract that was signed this offseason.
