Apparently the big rumor is that ESPN will be making a push for Woj and the Vertical. Which would make sense given how much the Vertical has invested on the draft.

In terms of breaking stories/news it is IMO. I follow the Vertical guys on twitter, but rarely do I read anything if they have an article attached. And I've never visited the site for any draft related coverage. I just know they put a lot of emphasis on it. I was definitely a Chad Ford guy when it came to NBA draft stuff.

I've never heard of the vertical.

I'm not sure how much content they have related to the draft(mocks, projections, top prospects) but they typically are the first ones to break news related to the draft, especially during the draft. It's just what I've noticed the past 2 drafts. Like I said, I rarely have visited the website.

Yeah, they typically do that, which I wish they didn't, as it takes away from the drama. But they are on top of their shit. And they do a live show during the draft. Last year 3.7 million streaming hits.
