Most likely a late rounder. 7th seems about right.

Since its a 2017 pick, I betting it's 6th or possible 5th, if he doesn't make Panther roster, it turns into a 7th, but if he does AND contributes, I'm guessing 5th or 6th. All based on conjecture.

This is along my line of thinking... If he plays "X" amount of games, we will receive a 5th or 6th... If not, we'll get a 7th...

Hearing reports that we are likely to sign Fred Jackson. Makes no sense to me.

Yeah, a bit of a head scratcher. If it happens, I think it must mean Michael or Turbin or both are on the chopping block.

Well almost 100% certain that one gets cut. Maybe both.

The apparent downturn of Michael is disappointing. Showed a lot of promise as a rookie but just hasn't taken it anywhere. Seems like there are a handful of teams out there where he could come in and compete right away for some carries, so maybe there's a trade market. Won't expect much coming back our way, but something is better than nothing.

Part of it was that he was buried on the depth chart, but he also started last year hurt. He didn't play until week 6 and also missed weeks 15-16. He did have some good catches during those 9 opportunities, but with our top 4 receivers returning (Richardson is PUP, but should be back this year), Matthews coming out in the SB & Lockett showing a lot of promise - it just didn't look like he was looking at a lot of playing time, even if he made the team.
Thanks @blstoker

Not a head scratcher to me, he'll be brought in to help block. Beast is our primary back, Turbo will be our solid backup, and Fred will fill a blocking roll similar to Mike Rob except he is more allusive; even at 34. I predict we move on from Michael, but either way this is a this season move and that's it. I like it a lot, and our O-line needs the help.

My prediction, Michael is traded to Dallas for O-line of some sort. They are stacked on the O-line, and equally need a back. Michael would be a 1000yd back in Dallas.

Norwood has good hands, but isn't athletic enough to help on special teams. The 5th/6th WRs need to give this team something on special teams.

DT D'Anthony Smith
T Jesse Davis
CB George Farmer
WR Deshon Foxx

Man I though Jeanpierre held his own ... He did a good job at center when Unger kept getting hurt.... Kinda surprises me ...

There were reports earlier out of camp that he made the best reads and adjustments among the centers, but he was not physically able to do the job. He couldn't even get the starting job back after coming off injury last year (while Unger was out).

I am not too surprised at any of these cuts.
Williams and Smith stood out to me at TC and BJ Daniels might make the squad because of ST's but that will be a reach. I believe Norwood would have soon been cut. He has never stood out.
Nowak and Lewis beat out Lem. I think it is just that easy.
There is a lot of depth on the D line and that made Scruggs expendable.
The team is just trimming the fringe players for now and the hard cuts happen in a few days.

Leadership, consistency. Great blocker and a pass catcher out of the backfield.

Future HOFer maybe not the first year eligible.
Wait. You think Fred Jackson is a HOFer??
