I wouldn't have ever guess that was Kool and the gang. In a sense, it reminds me a bit of the early Journey in that they started out as a bit of a fusion band and then morphed into more of a pop band.

I really liked them so much more during those Greg Rolie & Aynsley Dunbar years...
