...The one that MLB Network has been masturbating about for a week saying that Al Michaels and Bob Costas are going to announce on MLB network.

I am thinking that their broadcast is going to be blacked out in the Bay Area and even if we wanted to (which I sure as hell do not) we would be unable to watch those two tools try to steal the spotlight from each other.

Am I right?

I thought I read somewhere that Costas and Michaels were going to switch with Kruk and Kuip for an inning. As for whether MLB network going to be blacked out, I have no idea.

But Bob Costas is my favorite little person.

IIRC, Michaels is a native Bay Arean. Costas simply loves fucking baseball; I'm OK with this team. Better than those two SD fools....

Little known fact: Al Michaels used to be a Giants radio announcer in the early 1970s.

I used to love Costas until he started believing some of the hype that he was the best voice in sports. Now he's just a caricature of what he used to be. I cannot stand listening to him.

I just don't see how that pair is going to successfully announce an entire game. neither one will be willing to give up the mic for the other.

If they do one inning on CSN Bay Area, I think I will tolerate it. If I had to listen to them pontificate all night long, i would listen to the radio.

Which is why he did such a great job providing information during the 89' earthquake.
